The mission of JCole Advocacy, Inc. is to be a community support partner positively influencing the mindset of the community and caregivers through Autism Awareness and Education.
Advocacy
Our goal is to teach caregivers how to advocate for individuals with special needs, specifically Autism, within the community (i.e. private sector daycare centers and schools).
Public Service Awareness & Community Outreach
Act as a motivational speaker and journey teller for organizations, college institutions and caregivers to provide a personal perspective for caring for individuals on the Spectrum.
Resources
Support families who care for loved ones with Autism in moving from the discomfort of an Autism diagnosis to identifying financial, emotional, educational, and health/wellness resources.
Training & Development
Develop and deliver learning solutions to enhance sensitivity within diverse populations including nonprofit, for profit and governmental entities. Learning Solutions will enable people to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively interact and communicate with those individuals diagnosed with ASD as well as other key stakeholders.
Strategy
Consult and Strategize with community organizations and other thought leaders on ways to create an action based framework, value system, and inclusion programs for individuals with special needs.
JCOLE ADVOCACY'S VALUE SYSTEM
Education and Awareness - Knowledge is power and will decrease the uncertainty and discomfort felt when interacting with individuals with ASD.
Practical Application - Experience is always the best teacher. JCole Advocacy, Inc. will share the experiences that worked for individuals with ASD and their families.
Social Responsibility - It is JCole Advocacy, Inc. and the entire society's obligation to promote the welfare and interests of ALL in our communities including those with special needs.
Advocacy - Our goal is to teach caregivers how to advocate for individuals with special needs, specifically Autism, within the community (i.e. private sector daycare centers and schools).
Inclusion - With the increase of ASD diagnoses throughout the United States, it is important to promote acceptance, understanding and engagement of individuals with Autism.
Training - Simply understanding the definition of ASD does not ensure the successful application of interacting with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Training will be led by parents, educators and professionals to successfully implement techniques to engage individuals with Autism and encourage others to do the same.
